Production QA

A controlled checkpoint before every package leaves.

Image capture, OCR, business rules, and operator review brought together for personalized mail production.

  1. Capture
  2. Verify / review
  3. Record evidence

The need

Verify that multiple personalized components belong to the same recipient, while coordinating high-volume work, exceptions, evidence, and interruptions across workstations.

What we implemented

We developed a desktop verification platform connected to authorized production records. Camera capture and OCR support matching; uncertain or conflicting results go to an operator for review.

What it enables

A structured verification workflow with batch progress, recorded decisions, supporting evidence, interruption recovery, and coordinated work across multiple stations.

Client identity and production data are not disclosed. This case describes the implemented workflow and its intended operational value; no quantified throughput, accuracy, or savings claims are made.

INSIDE THE PROJECT

Explore the details.

Desktop application · Camera capture · OCR · Business rules · Central coordination

Production rules & batch planning

The platform interprets incoming production records, applies configurable rules, calculates expected quantities, and divides the workload into batches. Operators can change queues and resume without losing completed work.

Camera, OCR & human review

Configurable areas of interest focus recognition on the information needed for matching. Confident matches can be approved automatically; uncertain or conflicting results require confirmation, rejection, or rescanning, with each decision recorded.

Evidence & operational recovery

Verification records can include images, outcomes, timestamps, operators, workstations, findings, and manual decisions. Progress is committed continuously, and evidence is stored separately from application installation to support recovery and software updates.

Multi-station coordination & controlled delivery

Central coordination prevents simultaneous duplicate verification and synchronizes progress. Completed reports and evidence follow a controlled release and transfer process. Large controls, visual status, audio feedback, shortcuts, and separately protected administration support production operators.
